Praise and worship heralded the evening meeting as the youths waited in anticipation and expectation to learn from the wise words of the zonal pastor.
It was yet another exciting evening with the pastor as he took us on an advisory learning and insight on the importance on honouring and obeying our parents, spiritual leaders and generally people in authority.
MESSAGE: HONOURING OUR PARENTS
* Obeying one's parent as a Christian or unto God. Eph. 6:3.
* Our parents as father in the Lord. Lev. 20:9, Rom. 1:28-30.
2Tim. 3:2, Luke 2:51.
* Two biblical examples of people who obeyed their parents:
- Joseph Gen 37:13
- David 1Sam 17:17
* God stands against disobedience to authority
Some prayer points was raised to back up the evenings message.
The youth meeting came to an end with light refreshment from a volunteer with a gracious heart, may God replenish her abundantly.
Lets be reminded of the "Tabitha's Tent" event that will be coming up so we can donate clothes, food and other useful items to be utilised by the needy
The youth evangelism and outreach will also be coming up this Saturday from 2-5p.m
We will be looking forward to next weeks youth meeting as it is the celebration of Birthday celebrants from the months of January to March, you don't want to miss out on this as it promises to be fun. God bless you and see you there!
